Welcome to Voice Training by Brian Baker

Voice Training for Aspiring Singers

Do you want to take voice lessons?

Hello, my name is Brian Baker. I am a graduate of Sam Houston State University, Huntsville, Texas. I have a bachelor's degree in music education. I studied voice with Dr. Walter Foster for 4 1/2 years. I live in Conroe with my wife and family (children and grandchildren). I'll be 62 this year. I have taught music in public and private schools at the secondary level. I have experience in musical theatre, opera, art music, and sacred music literature. As a vocalist, I have concentrated a great deal of study on the exploration of vocal technique in addition to the aesthetic and technical aspects of singing. I love singing and I enjoy helping others develop their talents. If you are interested in pursuing vocal studies on a weekly basis, I would be glad to work with you. My present hourly fee is $35.00 and you would need to purchase your own music. The hours are flexible.

Just to give you an idea of the nature of my involvement in music through the years, below is a list of some my performances.
